3d modelling pt.2 - have now added a very basic rig to allow posing the robot. still yet to add hands, and the area between the face and helmet is for now a featureless void. note also the obligatory chequerboard and chrome, because what 3d render is complete without these?
probably going to go back to 2d work for a while to start finalising various design elements - at the moment i’m thinking about a british sports car influenced design - racing green and chrome, with a number and some decals.
i decided to have a shot at 3D rendering a model that i could pose as necessary instead of just drawing. about 10 hours learning to use blender and this is what i have so far, still needs to be rigged, have all the little fins and details added and lastly have a settled colour scheme and possibly some texturing
